I'm a long time lurker from way, way back. Good luck with your surgery Dawg! I had a triple by-pass 7-1/2 years ago at the age of 49. (Smoking and hereditary heart disease dont mix.) It wasnt near as bad as I thought it was gonna be. They did not catheterize me and that was a probably a good thing, cause you gottat get out bed to pee. Their gonna get you walkng withing a day or two anyway but the more you get up the better. If you have any questions message me and God speed.

I'm thinking you should pull through this just fine but if there's mention of lots of popsicles during your recovery, I would heed caution in believing such myths.
