Did anyone else see this banner today in north Dallas over 635 between tollway and 35E? It was part of an international awareness campaign by “V is for Vaccine” organization.

I didn’t think any vaccine makers had liability for their vaccines. I was surprised to see such a banner practically on my street. Curious as to your thoughts on this.

There is also one in Fort Worth on the west side.

I think I will let a bunch of people take the vaccine and see how they react, like 100,000 before I even consider it

They pretty much have to be exempt. If they weren't, a single class-action suit would involve potentially 100 million+ people.

The lawyers would get millions and the courts would be tied up for decades, and 20+ years after the suit was certified you might get a check in the mail for what? A few cents? More than the cost of the stamp most likely. At that point what's the use?

Several of them have already had studies with 30,000 plus participants. Most folks don't realize that vaccines are actually pretty easy to make. They had vaccine candidates created within a week of getting the genetic sequence of the virus. What's taken so long is putting them through safety trials.

I doubt anyone will be getting vaccinated anytime soon

The U.S. is set to begin vaccinations for health care workers the following week.
How many will be vaccinated with the first round of doses isn’t as clear.

I’ll play the vaccine like I felt towards lithium batteries, I’ll let someone else be the lab rat and then I’ll buy when they are proven.

Well for me the Lithium Battery wait was more for the price to come down to reasonable levels.

The vaccine is more of the lab rat thing for sure.
