$150 barrel now that Biden is president. I think he will cripple the energy industry. I might be wrong, but don't I think $150/barrel would not be crippling to the oil industry. I don't think the price will cripple domestic production, but increased regulations certainly can. I see fracking getting largely shut down and the US once again importing large amounts of oil from the Middle East. Which of course will eventually fund another round of Islamic terrorism, which will prompt a military response from the US, which will cost more lives and eat up more tax dollars. Just what the Democrats' want.

Biden and the Demorats will make sure it hurts us all. They won't let it hurt everyone - only Republicans. Dems will get a special 50% off at -the-pump discount card good until 2024.

Terrorism from the Middle East has been going on since the post WW2 destabilization of that region when it became a hostile grab for natural resources. Other than a few disastrous slip ups, the CIA played their cards expertly.

Oil production in the US went up when fracking technology made it economically feasible. When the prices sank after our production increased prices fell and people lost their jobs.
The US policy does not affect the price of oil all that much. Its a world market the price stabilized a couple years ago only when OPEC and several other countries lowered their oil production. The 2007 recession, lost jobs and less gas used affected the markets more than any president did.

Easy remember Obama, $3.75 a gallon? Most liberals are economic fools. Biden is no exception. Harder for some to remember $4.00/gal under Bush which helped create the economic crises in place in 2008, and the liberal economic fools were able to turn around by 2016. History proves the economy does better under Dem administrations.

Carbon taxes will be in the new budget and should the Ds get the senate they will be passed through budget reconciliation. To paraphrase a treasured saint “energy prices will necessarily skyrocket”.

What do ya'll think natural gas prices will do? Stay the same...unless we're using it to power military vehicles...
