Bass being able to see red has been common knowledge for years. Sadly most don't take advantage of that fact. Good video and great tip.

I have tried red hooks in the past and the fish seem to respond to them but the thing I did not like was the red coated hooks did not seem to stay sharp very long and the red wore off easily. It has been several years now since I have used red hooks, so maybe they have improved over time. I even thought about painting Owner or Gamakatsu non red hooks up almost to the barb and then leave the tip unpainted but just never got around to doing that.
