 map building google earth/navionics

I have a lake map that I have dropped pins on in google earth and pulled lat and lon. when i try to input the data on navionics the points on the map on navioinics vs google earth are way off..............any ideas on how I am screwing this up? it is clearly user error, just don't know the answer.
