 Can you cast chicken breast with the big rods.

I use fresh cut shad. Thinking of trying the chicken breast out just to see. I use 7-9ft rods and abi 6000 and 7000. 2-4 ounces of lead and i wing it a long way. Will the chicken breast stay on a circle hook ok? Thanks for the advice.

Catfish Dave threw a whole chicken breast in a recent video, but I can throw a golf ball size piece as far as I want.

I was throwing 8' ugly stick cat rod with Abu 6500, 2 oz weight, with the strawberry jello chicken breast this morning. No problem at all, Also big spinning rod rigs.
Son and I cleaned 10, turned several smaller ones lose. They were on shad and chicken both good until sun came out about 1 pm.

I cut about 2 lbs of boneless skinless breast into cubes and strips. Put 1 box of jello in a gallon bag with chicken, shake and put in the fridge.
Good to go. Smells better than shad also on your hands. Lol
