 A guy I know just died of covid

my mom just told me her neighbor across the street just died of covid. ambulance picked him up on sunday and he died in the hospital alone this morning. he was a great guy. and I knew him for 25 plus years. man, I'm ready for this BS to be over.

it saddens me, I find myself thinking of death now more then I did in combat conditions, possbly because there is soo little to do now

Sorry to hear that about your friend. Iām holding steady at 9 people I know that have died from Covid with one currently in ICU on a ventilator. In my world the kill rate is closer to 30%.

Condolences.
I've been trying to reach my friend that had Covid for a week now. Starting to worry about him. We talk frequently. Sent his wife a text yesterday, but still no reply. He wasn't in the best of health to begin with.
