Looks like 5 guys are leaving BPT including Christie, Ike, Hackney. Atkins. Powoznik while John Cox is going from BASS to BPT.

After thinking about those 5, at least 3-4 of them are more big fish guys in my opinion. The numbers game did not seem to fit their strengths. At least Christie, Hackney and Powroznickkkk(!).

I thought maybe B. Lane was gonna go back to BASS as he has had a good year in the Opens and may requalify.

Powroznik will need an invite/exemption if he gies back to BASS.

Bad move leaving a dying trail. Since those other guys left you don't hear about them near as much.

Atkins is 4th in Overall AOY and 6th in the Central. He is in excellent shape to qualify.

I was referring more to his style, he is shallow water 5 bites a day guy. MLF is every much as visible as Bassmaster these days, just because you don't like or watch their format doesn't make it less visible, plenty of us still watch both.

I suspect Ike is fishing for another Classic or AOY against an easier field than prior years at BASS and wants to retire from BASS versus MLF.
Possibly equally important is to get away from crud at MLF (aka Boyd and management)

Powroznik seemed to fit BPT well. He could catch numbers. I'm a little surprised at that. Hack and Ike are founding members. Hackney will probably be very up front about it at the Fun-N-Sun show in January. Love that about him. I think I saw he would be there again

Powroznick made a pile of money the last 2 years at MLF. 2 BPT wins and a Cup win. His surprises me a little.

I wish them all good luck next season, I’ll watch whoever, wherever.
