Went to a Clinic in Longview yesterday. After only waiting 4 hours in my truck tested positive for Covid 19.
I can see why it has killed so many. There really is no treatment, they didn't give you any prescription. Either your immune system is strong enough to fight it off or it's not.

The Doctor recommend taking these daily:
Vitamin C - 1000mg
Vitamin D - 4000mg
Zinc - 200mg

I called my regular Doctor and he sent me a prescription for a Z pack. Which I started taking last night.

Off the top of my head, I can think of 9 people that have had false positive tests. If I were in your shoes... I'd be looking for another test just to make sure.

Wait... You mean you did not get the same course of treatment that the president got?

Hope you feel better soon buddy! If the great Spider-Man can be taken down by this then anybody can.

I'd be demanding the available therapeutic drugs we've heard so much about. Best of luck in your recovery Spiderman. Keep us posted.

They're $200 a pop without insurance. FYI

Wish you the best in a safe and fadt recovery.

Today is my first day back to work after having it. Symptoms started 16 days ago. Tested positive 2 days later. Mostly mild symptoms. Took about a week to feel better. Still no taste or smell. Two other family members in my home got it after me. Mostly mild as well.

I think the Z pack helped, took a bunch of vitamins. Slept until 9:00 this morning.

This morning I noticed coffee had no taste.

Antibiotics really do not work on a viral infection. No magic drug to make it go away. Just gotta treat symptoms.

Same here my wife and oldest daughter both tested positive last week, Neither one of them has any smell, can't taste anything, been running fever just over 100, body aches, dry cough, and my wife was having issues breathing in the beginning. It has been 9 days now since the start of symptoms. My daughter has recovered mostly except no taste/smell. My wife still has a bad dry cough and actually started fever again the past couple of days. Doctor told them the same as above on vitamins. He also called in a Z Pack for each to keep it turning into anything else and some kind of prescription cough meds. Me and my youngest have 0 symptoms and have been keeping our distance. Just ready for things to get back to normal around here.

Mark, it is said that the Zithromax does have properties that interfere with the viral RNA replication and has anti-inflammatory properties in airway diseases. Of course COVID is not a bacterial infection which is what the Zithromax/Z-Pack ( Azithromycin ) is originally designated to treat.

Here ya go :

" Azithromycin is commonly used for bacterial respiratory infections, and could potentially treat or prevent co-infection with SARS-CoV-2. Azithromycin might also have antiviral activity against some RNA viruses.4, 5 Azithromycin has been shown to be effective in vitro against viruses such as Zika and rhinovirus, in addition to SARS-CoV-2,4, 5 and to have antiviral effects in bronchial epithelial cells.6 Azithromycin has also been shown to be immunomodulatory,7 and can reduce exacerbations in chronic airway diseases.8 Azithromycin is widely available and has an excellent safety profile; thus, if shown to be effective, could be easily scaled up as a first-line treatment for patients with COVID-19."
