Myself with buddies Jeff and Steve decided to do a late afternoon trip. We fished from 3pm till a little after dark. "Bingo"! We caught plenty of Bluegill and Crappie. Also had a couple of nice bonus bass in the 3 to 5 pound range. Fish were caught on a local river by marked brush piles in 16 to 20 feet of water. Jigs Chartreuse/Black and Chartreuse/Red got the best results. The Bluegill were caught on Gulp Alive Leaches. We released most of what we caught and kept a few for the dinner table. Always a good time fishing with friends.

Very nice Curtis...would love to see some pics of those 3-5 lb. bass as well...Do you know what the water temp was ?

Water temperature was 76 degrees. Very light boat traffic. Steve caught the two bass and has the pictures on his cell phone. Will see if he will down load them to me so I can post them. Not that he wont do it, he seems to put things off and his attention span is not that long.

Your spots have been paying off. Doing the ground work pays off. Good job guys.
