I currently have a foot controlled minn Kota fortrexx and also a lowrance gen 3 system for my electronics
Which would you replace/upgrade first?
The fortrexx for an ultrex
Or
The lowrance for the Garmin livescope system

Trolling motor, spot lock and the N button (auto pilot) on it are priceless and irreplaceable.
I basically only use the pedal when I am getting a snag out, otherwise it is on auto pilot, where it stays on the heading you last had it on and at that prop speed.

Trolling motor, no doubt. Anchor mode changed the way I fish. Motorguide has a feature where it holds a course and corrects for wind and varies motor speed to maintain a constant. Not sure what MG calls it.

well..sounds convincing to me, I plan on upgrading to the Garmin TM. I figured that was best since I will be updating my electronics to garmin later on.
