Your best bet will be in Mount Pleasant. The Hampton Inn I know is boat friendly. Probably a 15 - 20 minute drive from there, plus more places to eat than Lone Star or Daingerfield.

Definitely pick out one of the hotels in Mount Pleasant. Another option if you're planning to stay a few days and have some guys with you would be to rent a VRBO on Bob Sandlin......there used to be some in the $200/night range that were water front.

LAKE WELSH cabin rental 903-391-8966
never been there, but it is just north on FM1735 from where you turn to go to the ramp..
has covered and secure boat parking.


I love the smell of 2 stroke in the morning !!!
