 I guided one black bear for an archery hunter, didn't like the way the outfitter baited them. takes some cajones to hunt a bear that can climb a tree though. go find that 14 point!  454 Casull in the holster for when the arrow pizz em off. I carried an 629 with custom hot loads, scalloped hollow points with some hot powder.

My friend shot a whitetail a few years ago that dropped both sides between the time he was shot and the time her was recovered.
