I have found the best stuff for washing the fish stink off your hands. 1 part Dawn dish soap, 1 part Listerrine (the old yellow kind) ,1 part water.
this stuff works..

Try Windex. The ammonia in it kills the smell.

Believe it or not, just wiping your hands across stainless steel works wonders. I have a stainless steel "soapbar" in my tackle box. Wet my hands and rub them with the stainless steel. Windex works well too, but I use the stainless bar out in the boat.

Why would you want to get rid of the fish smell? That is the smell of success.

Another way to do it is to mix some hydrogen peroxide into some dish soap, what ever your favorite flavor is. Dish soap removes the oils that hold the smell, and peroxide helps "bubble" out the fine pours in the skin. Same as it cleans a cut.

or just buy the Kitchen lemon fresh hand soap at walmart or bath and body works. Takes the scent right off

I use neoprene gloves when handling fish. Keeps the smell off my hands. I even use the gloves when frying fish.

.Seems like I read toothpaste will work. After I handle a fish, I just rise my hands in the lake and dry off on my britches legs.

I would take the fish smell over diesel . Drove trucks for 50 + years never did like the smell of that stuff.

I call "fish stink", the smell of success. I just carry a shop towel and wet it with lake water after handling fish. The key is too remove the fish slime off my hands before it dries. I will admit skipjack is not a pleasant odor on my hands when it's snack time on the boat.
