My right side of my side scan does not work correctly. I was on Welsh last weekend and left side shows lots of downed trees and other structure. Right side is dim and shows only flat bottom. I did get a new transducer (tore off the old one on a stump) the end of last year and have had this problem since then. At the same time, I did a software update. I thought that might be the issue. I just updated the software again and still have this problem.

Ideas?

"torn off" may have resulted in a short circuit and damage to the unit processor.

If the new transducer is not defective ( it's possible) may want to let Humminbird check it out.
