Well the kids and I dropped of mom/spousal unit today for her travel to Qatar. She’s in BWI right now and will begin the flights to Qatar tonight. This is her third deployment in her 15 year Air Force career. I salute you MSgt  you are an inspiration to your entire family. Thoughts and Prayers are welcome

Weird... why not fly direct from DFW? They go from DFW to Doha every afternoon.

Weird... why not fly direct from DFW? They go from DFW to Doha every afternoon. you fly the way the man tells you to fly.

We are at Wright Patterson AFB in Ohio, however, no matter which city AMC (Air Mobility Command) is at BWI. She flies commercial to BWI, then a military plane the rest of the way.

Qatar is lit. When I deployed to Iraq in 2003, those on the Advon party got a 3 day there. They had a Chili's right next to the pool. We got 2 beers a day, which sucked. Pretty neat duty station if you ask me.
