So I blew up the hard drive in the old computer.
Ordered a new computer on-line, $400
FedEx delivered it Sunday by setting it under my mailbox .... that is located at the street .... 150 ft. from the house .... It woulda been just sitting on the curb, if we had curbs out here.
Prime for anyone to drive by, open the car door, and pick up the package. Lucky I saw it sooner.
Carry-on.
I'm glad there are wine drinkers in this world ..... it saves more beer for the rest of us. Hopper

If you'd tie up those six pit bulls in your front yard they'd deliver to your front door.

I will rant with you. FedEx left two big boxes of military deployment gear under the mailbox at my casa also.

On a positive FedEx note, they do deliver on Sundays now. That was a shocker a couple weeks ago when I got an out for delivery notice on a Sunday.
May you be treated the way you treat other people, today and everyday!

Sorry for your problems. They deliver to the door here although they don't knock when they leave it. Same with UPS. The mailman does but he knows I am a mailman. He may be giving me special service.
I always knock loud enough that a deaf person would "feel" the vibrations from the knock.
They are all under stress from hours worked. I do know the local UPS guys are all working 6 days a week and have been doing so since April. The guy I talked to about it said they go by seniority but early on everyone was working. Lately about 15 of the 80 delivery guys out of their office were not working Saturdays. They work from 60 to 75 hours per week.

I thought the postman always knocks twice ?

I am not sure how the UPS drivers survive under the pressure to “Expedite it”. tough job for sure- Fed Ex seems less stressful.

I have it in my account for packages be placed inside my back gate. And so far all the drivers have done just that.

There is a subliminal arrow in the fedex logo. It’s between the e and the x. Not sure how that helps your problem, but if you didn’t know it was there beforehand you’ll never not see it from now on.

UPS drivers around here all work well past 8:00 at night. Seems Fedex just sends out a dozen hot shot trucks with a couple of packages. Fedex always looks rested and refreshed.

USPS always knocks and rings bell here. Lately they have been much better than Fedex and UPS at delivering to right address

The USPS always at least rings the bell when delivering a package.
Amazon never does, so anything delivered after dark will stay on the front porch until we see it the next morning.
UPS will ring the bell sometimes, but several times lately they have left a package on the walkway to the front door, about 10-15 feet from the porch.
FedEx is usually pretty good about ringing the bell, and a few will even wait a few seconds to make sure we are headed that way before they walk off.
Family is everything! Life is precious. We don’t have forever. We have now. This moment. We can choose to love our lives now.

For a residence we get quite a number of deliveries from all 3 of the services. Even though my mailbox is a half a mile away my mailman will frequently hand deliver packages if they won't fit in our oversized box by the county road vs get the little brown card telling me there is a package waiting for us at the post office.
No issues with FedEx either. They even dropped off my wife's wine shipment with my 18 year old (supposed to be 21).
Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it.

I’m gonna jump in here too and say I haven’t had issues with package deliveries- My house is 550 ft from the country road and we have had zero problem with usps, fed ex, ups, or Amazon. Knock on wood, but as of now it’s been problem free-
