I understand a possible problem in distributing the Vaccine when available is inability to safely distribute it. The main problem is inability to provide dry ice in the quantities necessary to keep it frozen. Hope that is not the case.

I believe it may have to be kept colder than dry ice.

It is a challenge, but a challenge that can be overcome. It has to be kept at -97F from manufacture until no more than 1 hour before injection from what I have seen. What I haven't seen is how cold it is when it is injected into your body.
May you be treated the way you treat other people, today and everyday!

I work for a dry ice blasting company.....at least one of our services lines. We're working on an easy way to transport it.

How cold does it have to be, there are foodservice trucks all over the country that have zero degree areas.

they should pull Walt Disney out of the cryogenics bath , and use that.

They can transport it in liquid nitrogen containers just like they have been doing with the other vaccines for the last 50+ years . Unless there is something I am misunderstanding .

From what I read, private industry is already on this and has some previous experience since this is not the first to require drastic measures but not in this magnitude. FedEx has access to subzero freezers and is setting up warehouses to house them in major cities including Dallas. Pfizer is also developing shipping containers I assume to ship to storage centers. Hopefully, it won't as challenging as it seems at first glance.
