Hello starting to think about our winter trip over the Holidays this year and was wondering how does Caddo fish in the winter? I know that is a loaded question depending on weather and all but I have always wanted to fish it and look around but if it is historically tough in the cold will wait and just do our normal Welsh, Martins Creek, Fork type trip.

They can’t leave the water? I’ve only fished it in summer, I suppose they would be stacked up in the deepest Chanel’s but I’m not a winter expert on caddo, but we have been having pretty mild winters too

Oddly enough my best trips there were in cold, rainy , frontal conditions.
