Often my ultrex gets bound up somehow and won’t stow properly (won’t lay flat as It should). I can’t figure out what’s causing It. Anyone had this issue?

Probably your plastic pivot bushings. They break apart/get twisted and bind the mount when you raise and lower it.

Or it is not mounted level. That was the problem with mine. The surface that you mount them to may have a slight tilt. Shill under the bracket on the low side and it will fix it. Mine did.

Retirement best job ever.

I’ll check both out. Thank you.

It wouldn’t go down right at all today on the water but just now in the parking lot I was messing with It and found an extra strap loosely jammed inside the mounting bracket. I pulled It out and when I stowed It again It laid flat. Don’t know if that was the problem or if It was a coincidence. The problem has always been intermittent so I guess we’ll find out if that was It.

Haven't had that happen on my Ultrex yet but did on the Fortrex, turned out to be the bolts in the pivot had sheared off
