I have been checking out my M. K. charger, when plugged in to charge bank1 light will flash( a problem) have moved that lead to another battery.Same result, have come to conclusion charger has a prob. It is less than a year.Minnkotas warranty is 3yr. Well probiem is I haven't located receipt from Academy spoke with manager. they can't look up transaction mmore than like 90days. So maybe ya'll got good sugestion, maybe a repair shop that can fix it .???

Contact Minn Kota, explain the situation. Have the serial number ready. They may be able to tell how old it is.

If you put it on a charge card, you can look up the record there. I have used my credit card statement as a receipt before.

Thanks for the suggestions Dayne & Tom, Pretty sure i used card to purchase it. i checked the fuses on that bank and they were ok. Wish me luck.

Well the REST of story.Called M.K. talked to a lady, gave her serial number.She says manufacter date 9/16 SO too old {4yrs.} i know i havent had it that LONG. Possibly 12 to 14 months. I told her it could have sat on the shelf gatherin dust for a year. Iam sure what she said was date of manfacture. Waiting on bank to contact me.

When I buy stuff at Academy I have the receipt emailed to me so I can file it in a file in Yahoo mail.

That is unless the knucklehead cashier hits the "do not email" button on the register after I have told it to email me.
