I was fishing in the back of a creek this evening and this fish surfaced twice chasing shad. I threw everything on the deck before contemplating what to do next.

I remembered an article Don Harper wrote about Spooks and found one hiding in the bottom of my boat. I used the SOS Morse Code rhythm Don described. It took a few casts before this fish crushed the Spook. Scared the carp out of me. Fish weighed 4.38 lbs. Great experience, thanks Don!
