I was fishing on some rocks at Grapevine and caught this 3.5 lb fish on a square bill. When I got him in the boat, he had a crank bait and several feet of line hanging out of his mouth. He put up a good fight so not surprised he broke somebody off. Ah the 10 lber that got away that one day. Funny you said that! My buddy went to Aquilla this spring and had a great day. But said he broke off a giant on a chatterbait. He's caught 4 over 10 so when he says giant I tend to believe him. Asked me to join him the next day but I couldn't get away. He went back and caught the same fish in the same spot on a chatterbait. And the 4 and a half pounder had his chatterbait from the day before in it's mouth! ! He called me and fessed up! Pretty funny!
