 Help.....Skeg broken off on TM

I have a minn kota ulterra...... the skeg snapped off at the base of the TM following an accident. Can I get the skeg welded back on or do I need a new part? Thanks. I know nothing about metals and welding.....any help is appreciated.

For what it would cost to have it welded you could replace the end cap.

I'd also check and make sure you didn't bend the prop shaft.
