Intel needed with reference to 24 volt self stow and self deploy troller. Anyone care to share how to charge said batteries while on the water? My troller runs out of charge within a few short hours of operation . Set up is as follows. 21 ' Nautic Star , two gel batteries @ 3 yrs old, troller is 80 lb thrust , calm days , not so bad however, windy days and on spot lock short lived as in 2 hours.
Maybe just need to replace batteries .
Your thoughts plz !!

Yes and make sure you are running batteries that are fit for purpose. I use deep cycle wet cell batteries for my trolling motor and a dual purpose AGM for the engine and graphs etc. I have a Dual Pro 3 bank onboard charging system. Dual Pro recommends to keep the charger on all of the time when the boat is in storage. If you are running graphs, put the graph you are not using on standby mode. When I go up to the bow, I always put my console unit on standby mode and vice versa with the bow unit when I am back at the console. These graphs are battery hogs.

You need new batteries. Recommend group size 31. I've had good luck with these. https://www.samsclub.com/p/duracell...e-31dtmagm/prod3590232?xid=plp_product_1
