LAKE WELSH TEAM FALL OPEN SERIES
Dates:
November 7, 2020
November 21, 2020
December 5, 2020
December 19, 2020
Entry Fee:
$100 per team - 90% payback
$20 optional Big Bass Pot - 100% payback
CASH ONLY
Registration:
On-site registration will begin at 5:30am the morning of the event
Times:
Each event will be an on your hole start. Boats may leave the ramp at 6:30am with lines in at 6:45am. Lines out will be at 3:00pm with weigh in line closing at 3:30pm.
Rules:
-Artificial baits only
-Lifejackets must be worn with kill switch intact above idle speed
-No alcohol permitted during tournament hours
-5 fish limit, minimum length = 18 inches
-No team may have more than 5 bass in the livewell
-There will be a .50 penalty for dead fish – no culling of dead fish
-No guides may fish if they have guided on the lake within the last 6 months
-A team will consist of one or two anglers per boat
-1 place paid per 5 entrants
-All ties will be resolved by splitting that place and the next place’s money or a coin flip
-All boaters must comply with the laws of the State of Texas

It is the first one of the year but in years past they normally average 15-20 boats

We had 15 boats for the first event on 11/7
1st = Devin Bowden & Shane Gibson 22lbs 9oz $675
2nd = Kevin Brumley & Steve Brumley 21lbs 14oz $405
3rd = Steve Terrell & David Atkins 21lbs 6oz $270
BB = David Bowden & Shane Gibson 5lbs 4oz $280
Our next event will be on 11/21
No memberships are required to fish
There are no off limits
Moving forward we will have a shotgun start at 6:15am
Fishing times: 6:15am - 3:00pm
Must be in weigh in line by 3:30pm

Final Welsh Tournament Series event this Saturday 12/19.
