I had 3 pair of Wolverines that fell apart within a couple of years just setting in my closet.

I would be tempted to buy one more pair and see if it happened a fourth time.

grin I don't have that problem because I nail mine into my heel.

I worked my way up to the head of customer service. We spoke for quite a while, and she was very pleasant. I asked her how I was supposed to know that these boots were made before the takeover when I bought them? All I knew was what they advertised 100 years of quality tough boots. She started to tell me there was nothing she could do. I told her as long as she knows that I will never give up and I would continue to contact Every person in her Company because I felt Cheated, that I had shower shoes that are over 20 years old. Why shouldn't I expect a pair of new boots to last more than 2 days?...They are sending me a replacement pair. I promised her I would go to every website I complained on and let them know. I am a man of my word. I will also let you all know how these stand up!

Good job outlasting them, although it is a shame you had to take the effort to do it. When you acquire a brand, you also acquire the liabilities and goodwill from that brand. It is silly that the new company thought they were not responsible just because they were not in control of the manufacturing process.

Worked in the oilfield most of my life, Redwing makes really good boots!

I have a pair on I've had for 16 years.
