Lake is extremely low...as in the ramp is out of the water. You are essentially launching on the lake bed. There's plenty of hydrilla and niad, but not so much that you can't fish. There aren't really hard edges to the grass, but there are patches away from the large mats. The front blew through this morning dropping air temp to 55. Water temp was fairly consistent at 74 across the north side of the lake. I tossed a pearl white fluke (in honor of a buddy of mine) at the back side of hydrilla mats in about 2-3' and managed two very small fish, but aggressive hits. I decided to fish the deeper side of the mats in about 7-8' and managed a couple more that weren't 2.5 and 3. Got a call and had to get off the water early so that's it. That's the report. Bottom line is if you're gonna fish Decker prepare for a very low lake level.

I didn't lose him at the boat. I shook him off cause I didn't want my hands to get "fishy"

Did you use a Yak or a bass boat? Thanks! Got a 20' bass boat and was told it's dang near impossible to get it off or on the trailer without damaging your prop or skeg.

I've got a 19' Skeeter, but I also have a hydraulic jack plate so I didn't have much trouble. If you have to tilt your motor quite a bit to get the bow up on the trailer you probably don't wanna go. Mine glides on pretty flat

Thanks! Which ramp are you using. Facing the water, the one on the left (flatter) or the small two lane on the right?

They've only got the one on the left (furthest from the dam) open. on the plus side you'll have the lake pretty much to yourself except for kayakers and maybe 3-4 other boats
