So I assume this is the same deal that was in Hot Springs, Ark. last year and maybe some of ya'll went. I read that they fed Crappie to 3,400 people at the one in Arkansas.
My question is, Where do you get enough Crappie to feed that many people???

Yes, this is the same thing. Yes, they fed that many people. They take a lot of donations of fillets to get that many crappie. Some people I know that are going are bringing bags of filets with them as well.

It is a great event with big efforts from many folks. I know that CAT Crappie Anglers of Texas has donated fish from weigh-ins to aid in the numbers of fillets needed.

I have a good friend who placed top 5 last year. He is bringing 100 filets up for the fish fry. Almost all the contestants bring fish
