Don't use treble hooks. Circle hooks 4/0-8/0

4X is the key to a treble hook. If you plan to reuse your hooks and not leave them in a gut bucket .

After watching this video I will have to buy some of the cheaper ones to test them out. The VMC and Mustad are my go to replacements. Cheap knockoff VMC testing

Cheezy treble hooks include any of the Eagle Claw treble hooks, spend too much time straightening hooks.
