Depends how you want to look at it. Fishing on top of the Classic is poor sportsmanship, charging entry fees after making a big deal of " now being a pro sport " because you were not , one less full field event than was org. scheduled this season and you had in 19. They certainly make it hard to support and give them the benefit of the doubt.

I wonder how many BPT guys fish the opens next year. Their contract was 3 years, right?

I wish Big O would just fill us in on everything.

Not really, I enjoy the format and like watching. So it's not hard to support them. I don't fish it so i don't care about them paying entry fees

booking on top of classic weekend was pretty sorry, imo. you put some of the anglers in a tough spot with their sponsors. shtty move MLF! I hardly watch any of the MLF stuff anymore. After the beating Sprague took on here about snagging fish I lost interest in a lot of tournament fishing stuff. or maybe I am just getting old and lost the competitive drive and don't care for drama.

Jason Christie has repeatedly mentioned in the last week wanting to win an Open this year to qualify for the 2021 Bassmaster Classic. You think he knows a BPT is scheduled on top of the Classic? confused wink

maybe they are going to allow the guys fishing the classic to fish in the MLF B group at Rayburn (start second day). I don't see how these athletes fish that many days in a row! they are in darn great shape to be able to do that type of haul!

I like MLF but I will agree with it being a crappy move to schedule on top of the Classic.

Yep, if they did it on purpose it's crappy. If it wasn't on purpose then that's just they things roll

MLF is at Rayburn while the classic is at Ray Roberts eek shots fired. Flw and Bass never scheduled on top of their championships, there was an understanding you didn't do that

Sounds like something Boyd would do.

MLF is a beating to watch, I have no interest in watching 1-2lb fish caught. With that said, BASS Has been on the 1 lbers lately and it’s tough to watch!
