Wife and I like to try new places that are off the wall and hard to find. Found one today and they had one of my favorites as their lunch special---Liver and Onions. It was some of the best I have had in quite a while. Eyeballed the other plates coming out and each looked like they would be worth trying. I almost placed an order to go on their onion rings. on the nw corner of the town sq. in sulphur springs is a bar/restaurant, they are probably the best dam chickenfry I have had, size is not a problem either.
work up to the large if you go there.

Frank's Steakhouse, on Highway 7 just east of Chilton, before the gas station at the "Y" that goes left to Marlin and right to Lott. Awesome ribeyes and baked 'taters. I'm not sure this qualifies for this thread because it's not even in a town at all.

New location and a big upgrade on the facilities but the food is the same. Has a liquor license now also.
