Not sure if any of you here have seen or even used this but Nuclee-R fibers are the newest material to hit the market as they are heat activated to give off U.V.A. Pearlescent multi-layered iridescences. I researched this guy who designed the material on youtube and its a phenomenal material to tie with. The ability of being so universal with it is what really interests me and its very affordable. The developer also has published videos on many patterns he's designed and how to tie them. Just figured I'd share this with you all. Information on the material: (Nuclee-r Emission Wing) N.E.W. FLY TYING MATERIALS U.V.A.PEARL & 19 U.V.A. PEARL BLENDSSpecial blending of U.V.A. Pearlescent multi-layered iridescent (and either another color of highly reflective iridescent or a bright reflective polyester) winging fibered material used to create fantastic streamers, flies and jigs from size 10 up to size 6/0 and better. This material is great by itself or add it to other winging materials for added flash.
Simply apply heat in my Patent Pending special process to make fantastic iridescent colors come alive to the already iridescent materials! See Free Fly Tying Videos to learn how easy it is to make iridescent and holographic flies.http://www.1a-fly-fishing.com/nuemwi.html Here are a couple videos: G.I.D Shrimp Baby Bunker Baitfish Nuclee-R Diver
If anyone is looking for saltwater/freshwater flies (streamers/clousers..etc etc) let me know. I am also available for custom flies needing to be made.

Those are great videos! Hot glue and the heatgun, never saw those used in that fashion before.
Those ought to make some rockin' good streamers!

yea i've never seen a heat gun used before...however i think the shapes and designs and patterns you can create using his material and methods are bar none. The ability to show iridescence by just melting the product is awesome and takes the ability to present the lure to the fish in a whole new light...literally.

What all flies do you have tied with his material? I wouldn't mind testing some out. Might you have any in smaller hook sizes? I'm thinking bluegill and creek bass sizes.

I personally haven't used any of Polaris materials...but I will be soon. Im going to order his 20 pack variety from his website and experiment with it. I have to pick up a heat gun and a hot glue gun so I can somewhat use his techniques to tie some of the flies he produces. I did heavy research on this product and he also sells it on eBay as well as pre-made flies for purchase. Apparently this guy develops and contracts a lot of work for his label but none the less I soon plan to work with this material.
