Many of the aisles at Bass Pro & Academy looked like they're going out of business. It has hit all the manufacturers.

Have you been to an academy since covid? The zoom section is wiped out and they can't keep production up with sales, go look at a gun counter too, empty. Guns and ammo have a lot more to do with the uncertain political state of our country than it does with Covid……….. I also wonder just how much of the stuff we buy comes from overseas, which also adds to the lack of availability.

I’ve have seen looking for a reasonable priced 5 to 1 gear ratio reel small profile for a few weeks .

There is a high demand because of COVID and a lot of manufacturers have seen it. Xcite baits is based in Pilot Point and I saw on FB they bought a second injection mold machine.

I know Lloyd and the reason he bought another machine is twofold: 1) He's doing a great deal of business on the "box" like subscription deals. They are ordering in 100's of thousand and one recently ordered a Million 2) He's adding a few new baits to his lineup His baits are low on the his shelves as well.

I can't find Zoom Zlinky's anywhere! Weren't at Dick's Sporting Goods, Academy, or Walmart. I know you can order them online, but when you're a cheapskate like me you don't like to pay for S&H. I'll end up having to bite the bullet and order online.

I’ve have seen looking for a reasonable priced 5 to 1 gear ratio reel small profile for a few weeks . I have two shimano 5-1 left hand I want to sell. sv103's is what they are if I remember correctly. I never use them.

I was just at Academy at Parker and the tollway and they had a very good selection of Zoom baits😀
