I have caught catfish has by catch and know they run with striper and hybrids. Do any or you use thumpers? The vibrations mimic fish feeding on shad...

One of my Prostaff members finally answered that question. He uses his thumper for blue cats... His son caught this one today scouting for this weekend!

Texoma has been tough for me the last two weekends. I usually get to the lake around 8 which is when the topwater bite is dying down and have to leave a little before the afternoon bite starts. I have still managed a few fish in the middle of the day. I tried trolling last week and then caught a handful of bait mid day before breaking out the thumper. Just for fun I decided to try for some of the catfish that were drawn in by the thumper. I caught a couple of nice pan sized blue cats. I don’t really catfish and know these get close to 100lbs but I think I could catch a bunch this size...
