I never saw a "leader board", but the winning weight for five fish was well over 9 lbs. Big fish was over 2.5. There are some mutants in that lake. I can only speak for myself so...My five fish weighed 7.94 and my big was 1.93. That's an average of 1.588 lbs each... Enough to do well in most tournaments, not this trip. There were lots of door prizes, lots of delicious fried fish and got to meet some new fishin' folks. Thanks Joe Read and everyone!

It was a tough time fishing, the front really turned the fish off but the stringers were still heavy. top 3 stringers were over 9 lbs with the winner at 9.4?? I think. Great food and a really good time. Thanks to everyone that put it on! We would like to make it an annual tradition.
Thanks again, Joe, Jimmy, Dennis, Greag and everyone that helped put it on!

the pond is withing 2.5 feet of being full
Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

My five were 7.71, with big fish 1.97. On fish all day but couldn't pull enough large ones

I think 9.39 won it with 2.69 taking big fish. I had 8.47 with a 2.18 while my other half had 8.18. 90 plus entries.
First off, hats off to the cooks, the fish was great, thanks for having lots of cold drinks ready also.
I enjoyied my first ever sand bass tourney, hope my calendar is free for the next one.
What a great effort and great cause, re-stocking of the hybrids.
Again, thanks to all the sponsers and LTSA for hosting such a great event.
