Any good eats around Lake O the Pines. Planning a trip in November and have never been there. Also any good tackle shops on the area.

Used to be David Beard's-Catfish King on LOP.

Haven't been there is YEARS. It may be gone by now .... or wish it were gone.

Somebody will tell.

I'm glad there are wine drinkers in this world ..... it saves more beer for the rest of us.

Can't think of any good place to eat around the lake offhand, I know that David Beard's-Catfish King is gone. I live about 30 minutes from the lake so I usually go home for lunch. I will ask a friend that lives up there if someone else on here does not give some good places.

BBQ in Jefferson, 5D Steak in Avinger, Brushy Creek landing makes a decent burger. Tackle shops not so much.

I like the café just down from Johnson Creek for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

I live 5 minutes from the 155 bridge. There is a new place that just opened right on 155 on the Upshur Co side. Its called the Jack Rabbit Grill. One of the best hamburgers i have had in a long time. It is close to the old David Beards, which is in fact closed.

There is Venice Pizza in Ore City that has real good pizza

5D Steakhouse in Avinger was mentioned above. They are great but expect a wait.

Riverport BBQ in Jefferson if you are down that way.
