Starting to look around. What happened to manufacturers advertising horsepower, transmissions and handling? Now their biggest selling point are android, camera screen sizes and bluetooth connectivity..O
I want a car, not an entertainment center.

Because my next truck will be based on screen resolution, backup camera(s), bluetooth and other "entertainment" features like navigation. The trucks (F150, Chevy 1500, Ram 1500) are close enough in hp and towing to not make enough difference for me.

Seriously? I buy a vehicle to drive, not crash. I choose not to wear a helmet when on my motorcycle, I don't need bags in a car.

Personal choice there. I prefer as much protection as I can get. I am sure that the vast majority of drivers feel the same way.

No one plans to get in an accident. They happen as that is why they are called an accident.

And seat belts too. Just another thing you have to pay for that's marked up.

Also, brakes. I don't need them. I prefer to put it in reverse and powerslide to a stop whenever I arrive at my destination.

We are making the transition from an engine with four wheels to a computer with four wheels and I am not a fan. I have a 1958 car in my garage that reminds me how much fun driving used to be. However, I do enjoy a modern computer car on a long trip.

I just remember when air conditioning, radios and power steering were optional. I miss those days.

do you miss the "good old days' when tires lasted 20,000 miles, spark plugs lasted 10,000 miles and a car was worn out after 100,000 miles? I don't....
