Yes get the new shingles shot and the new pneumonia shot. One or both of these is a two shot series. We both got them both. No ill effects. There are two pneumonia shots that aren’t a series. I concur that one should get both shots of both.

I wouldn’t do it. Dr. Derek now says no to getting the shot. As a colleague, I would be overjoyed to review your conclusion and then you can write an article and say your thesis is peer reviewed.

2nd Shingrix shot is supposed to be taken between 2 to 6 months after the initial shot. That is the protocol and supposedly if you go beyond 6 months before receiving the 2nd dose you have to start over. I have had them all and being “Black Cloud” will most likely get it!

Are there any ACTUAL docs present? The real docs lay low when asked for medical advice - we have a very litigious society on here. As another species of doctor, I say use Robitussin on the shingles once they start. They may itch a little but sure won't cough.
