I have a few older reels that I'd like to keep in good shape:

- Daiwa Sealine SL50SH, from mid 90s. Needs a clutch spring (144-6403), the free spool lever has a lot of play in it.
- Shimano Calcutta 200 TE, from late 90s. Needs the titanium insert in the line guide, I think I need to replace the line guide (BNT2456) full stop.

I've found places to buy drag washers and high quality bearings.

I've done some googling, but I haven't found great sources for everything. Any help is appreciated smile

Ha! I had a pretty good stash of penn reel parts (senator, squidder, 309, etc) but they were lost in Ike. Thanks for the tip though!

Ben: as you know from the "American Reels" thread I bought a Squidder from: https://berinsontackle.com/product-category/1-reels/ -- he stocks a lot of parts for older stuff.
You probably know about: https://www.mysticparts.com
and these come from one my reel overhaul videos:

Thanks! I know about a few of those -- I've replaced drag washers (Carbontex) and bearings (Boca) in a few reels. EReplacementParts doesn't carry Daiwa stuff, I'll definitely check out the other resources.

Thanks Zeb!

Is Dad’s Ole Tackle as bad as the reviews say it is? I have a Daiwa reel that just quit working and was going to take it there since I live near Conroe. Reviews are terrible, any other recommendations?

Southwestern Parts usually or from manufacturers themselves
Dad's Ole Parts gets them from SWP
Mike's has a lot but theyre in Canada so its more expensive to ship
