Is there an easy way to remove double-stick foam "tape" from metal sides of enclosed trailer? Got 7 left of 10 reflectors stuck on with that tape. Does a d*mn good job of sticking to the trailer but not so good sticking the reflectors. Want to get that stuff off and replace with 3M DOT tape.

There is no easy way

If you don’t have Goof off or Goo gone available, and you do have Mineral Spirits in the garage, try that first with a Bondo spreader. exacto knife or a razor blade on a plastic handle type tool may come in handy.

The alternative is to use some Lexel to have it adhere to the reflector part. That stuff will hold and hold well forever.
It’s also easier to remove than two part epoxy or JBweld.

goof off and a plastic putty knife that you sharpen will get R done.

I've used goof off and dental floss to remove items affixed with double sided tape. It was surprisingly easy to saw through it with the floss, and the goof off removed any residue from the adhesive.

I used to use a heat gun or hair dryer to remove decals from old vehicles I was working on - might be worth a try?

That makes tape removal effortless . I used one on my truck to remove stripes .

Cutting torch will melt it off.

Pee on it
