Wow, really gotta respectfully disagree with ya on that one. Been fishing BB for over 25 years and back then the fishing really did suck to the point I quit going there. The last few years the fishing has been really good.
If you reserve a campsite the parking is included. If you are just making a day trip yeah you'll pay to play but will also have to at any Texas state park.

And remember, they've gone to barbless hooks every where on the Lwr Mt Fork.

I guess it's all a matter of perspective based on when you started going there... I used to catch 2x the fish I do now.... maybe I'm getting old and my reflexes are slowing.... As for the barbless hooks, I didn't see any signing indicating that. If that's the case, they either need to put up signs or move the ones they did put up so we can see better!

Fishing was slow, the water temp was a bit warm.
10 hours on the river yielded one 6" rainbow. Guys at the fly shop say that's one that hatched on the river.
I had a lot of fun, though. Can't wait for another trip.
