I saw on the news this morning it was still 23 feet high. They were letting as much water out of it as they could.

Years back when the great flood knocked out Belton for along while the bass fishing was phenominal afterwards. The next spring it was taking over 25 pounds on a five fish stringer to win some tourneys. Not the case anymore, but it has been a better lake ever since.

This is from another site.
This Saturday Morning 9 Jun 07, at 9:00 am there will be a clean-up party at Union Grove Park, Stillhouse Hollow, volunteers check in at the Gate House and log your volunteer hours. Once we get the ramp and parking areas clear of debris the ramp will open for public access. Please come and assist. Point of contact is Andy at 254-289-9490 and Chuck at 254-690-3473. Any one with access to a BOBCAT that would like to assist would be most beneficial and appreciated.

This again from the other site.

If you missed this opportunity there is still the Marina, River's Bend, Dana Peak and Cedar Gap, as the water recedes. Thanks to all those who participated in today's festivities, a special thanks to Clifford Brown and Andy Foulkenrod of Texas Boat World for their particpation and Tractors. _________________

Treebass sent you a IM with the web site. Don't know if it O.K. to post another site here. That is why I didn't post the site.
