Tournament Update: First, so it will be daylight at start time, the start and end times were changed to 7 AM and 1 PM, respectively. These times supersede the times in the announcement. Second. to make the tournament worthwhile in raising money for the CC Veterans Foundation, we need at least 20 participants. So far, we have 12 with only 5 more days to pre-register. You may also register tournament morning between 6 and 7 AM at Log Cabin. Third, there are some weigh-in and lunch changes this year due to Covid-19, so please read the Announcement, which I have copied from the CCVF web site and posted below.

The weather forecast is to be beautiful (64 degrees to 84 degrees) so all you need to do is register and come on out for a great day of fishing and fun!!. Please register ASAP so CCVF can make all the necessary plans for the weigh in and light lunch.

CCVF supports East Texas veterans with financial support to CampV, Tyler, Fisher House and Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society. The Board of Directors and Officers of CCVF are all volunteers so net proceeds can be pushed out to make more of a difference for more veterans.
Please message me if you have any questions.

Thanks, Dennis Christian

ANNOUNCEMENT OF
Second Annual Cedar Creek “UNCONVENTIONAL” White Bass Tournament

On October 10, the SECOND ANNUAL CEDAR CREEK VETERANS FOUNDATION
(“CCVF”) “unconventional” white bass tournament will be held. It will be an individual
tournament with categories for adults and children. Children ages eight to twelve may register in
either the Children’s Division or the Adult Division but not both. If they register in the Adult
Division, they will be required to pay the $50.00 adult registration fee. The location is Cedar
Creek Lake at Log Cabin boat ramp and grounds.
Due to COVID-19, no one will congregate for lunch or a live auction. For the weigh-in, you
may beach or moor up to Log Cabin docks. Once “parked”, you will receive a number and you
will be required to remain in your boat until your number is called. Everyone leaving their boat
will be required to WEAR A MASK and be 6 feet away from the person in front of them. If you
fail to wear a mask and maintain 6 feet of separation, you will be disqualified from the
tournament and will forfeit your registration fee. A light lunch will be brought to you in your
boat during the weigh-in. Winners will be announced once all participates have completed their
weigh-in.

In addition to promoting family fun through fishing and just being in the great outdoors, the
“HOOKED ON VETERANS” white bass tournament is to raise money for CCVF. This is the
organization which also supports the Cedar Creek community and raises money through the
annual 4th Of July Thunder Over Cedar Creek Lake Air Show. CCVF’s mission is to honor
the courageous men and women who have served to protect our freedoms by providing financial
support for those agencies responsible for their care and nurture. The three beneficiaries
supported by CCVF are CampV, Tyler, Fisher House and Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society.
CCVF is a 501c3 and is led by an all-volunteer team of Board of Directors and Officers. All
proceeds from their fundraisers go to support these charities.
