Also, will the G2 transducer for a Solix work on a G1 Solix? I need to replace one and was thinking about buying the new transducer. Low voltage does create GPS issues among other things but fps issues are usually the first sign. I think it would be worth your time to either add a dedicated fuse panel or wire straight back with 10 ga. Wire. The 2 transducers are tuned different so no

Thank you, sir, I will just run a dedicated wire for each graph. Maybe I can fish tape it through.

Okay, running the individual power cables worked, however, the sonar is hanging up and will not continue updating. The mapping will still be updating and working fine and the sonar, DI, and SI will freeze up and not continue updating. Any ideas?

Is your unit still under warranty? I would update to the 3.7 software

Unit is 2 years old, so, I don't know about the warranty. I have downloaded the new update, I just need to install it on the unit. Maybe that will help. Thanks for the info!

I’m having issues with temperature readout on my Helix 10 Gen 3 Mega SI+. All of a sudden the reading was gone from my screen. I’ve searched the overlay reading list, reset defaults, it’s just gone! Any ideas on how to get those readings back on my screen?

Any ideas on how to get those readings back on my screen? Can't remember if it matters on the helix but check the user mode, make sure it's in advanced. Can also check hummingbird FAQ on this subject https://www.humminbird.com/support/faqs/TempReading

Update - I searched through everything in the unit to get my temp reading back, nothing. I restored default settings, nothing. Called humminbird and was asked to update the software which in the description didn’t have anything to do with temp readings. I updated software and it fixed the issue. Now if this high dollar unit would link to my I pilot and automatically put me on the fish, I’d buy three more!

Will a Helix 12 Chirp Mega Side imaging gn2 network with a helix 7 chirp gn2 plug and play? or is there going to have to be an update in software? and will the cable just hook directly from one unit to the other? I plan on using the helix 12 as the primary source and just have the helix 7 show what the 12 is reading.
Thanks Keith

Thanks Keith Yes they will share data but do it best if the software versions are the same or close. Both need the AS EC QDE Ethernet Adapter, and then an Ethernet cable between them.

One more Question Wayne, I got everything i need to hook my network up with the helix 7 gn2 chirp gps and my helix 12 mega SI chirp gps ( etc ) Should i restore defaults on each unit before i link them together? Or will they see each other with out restore?
Thanks again Keith

It could be the transducer or the processor. The only way to tell is test with another transducer.
