 Crazy Police chase - grappler device

This may be the most off the rails road rage incident I've ever seen. Crazy lady kept ramming the car in front of her even after the police were on her bumper. Then popo shot out a go-go-gadget grappler hook and yanked the vehicle to a stop. https://www.yahoo.com/news/police-grappler-device-end-chase-110416503.htmlSorry for the lame link, but I couldn't find this particular video where I could imbed it. I've never even heard of this new toy, but it looks pretty awesome. There are a handful of youtube videos showing testing, and one other real world use of the device.

That was AWESOME! I can't say I know how it works. It wraps the wheel/axle and is anchored to the patrol car frame? How bizarre. Worked great though.

I saw the demos a few years ago. Really cool way to stop a chase. Much better than the pit maneuver
