I was fishing last weekend on the Ivie and noticed a lot of dead carp floating all over the lake. It seems like all the carp were the same size, 10"-12" long. Just wondering what my cause that? by the way, bass fishing was very slow.

I noticed them as well and the fishing has been tough too. All my years here I’ve not seen the carp situation like this, up the river yes but not main lake like now.

Saw the same thing two weeks ago: saw six 2-3lb carp floated and a couple of lmb floaters.
The lmb were 3-4lbers, fully bloated with very pale skin.
