OP hawghoover Extreme Angler Joined: Jan 2015 Posts: 1,374 Lewisville Tx	yesterday i was tuning 21 Balsa baits i made and honest truth,i caught a bass on every bait ! never done that in 50 years.must be the water temp is coming down.

Just wondering. i make and sell Balsa Crankbaits...as with ALL crankbaits you need to be sure they run true by tuning them.i had made 21 ,2 days before and always hand tune every bait so i cast them and retrieved them one at a time and adjust the line tie eye so the bait runs strait.as i did this i was catching a bass on every bait in about 6 casts as i tuned them.ended up catching a bass on every bait before i was done. true story! so does color really matter? going back there this morning to tune 4 baits for a guy will see how they bite.will run my iphone and try to vedio it. I Is that already set in stone by the design? the angle,and length and width of the bill and weight in the bait will determine how deep the bait will run.like short bill run shallow ,long bill run deeper. and 40 some years building them helps lol!
