I bought a new pair of pull on wellington Irish Setters the other day. I tried on the left one, seemed pretty good. Won't know about the right one till I get my foot out of a cast.
This is my second pair of Irish Setters, the last one started coming a part after about 12 years. I glued the soles back on with shoe goo, they seem to be hold their own, worked at the deer lease in them 4 days straight. The lining on the inside is wearing after all these years. Best boot I've ever owned so I bought another pair. This pair is a little different than the first pair, part of the sole is stiched on. My old pair was all glued on.
I think I paid 176 on Amazon.
Thanks, Billy

+1, these will last years, the first pair I have is 3 years old I use for working outside in the garden, I bought a new pair for work this summer. Another vote for the work hog. Love mine Same work boots I wear. I bought a back-up pair at the beginning of the pandemic just in case the zombies attacked and it became hard to find zombie stomping boots.

Made in USA if you can find. I have a pair of Herman Survivors that are 30+ years old. The soles start coming off the Chinese carp after a few years.

Bought a pair of Ariat work boots from TSC 3yrs ago. Wear them everyday. They have been great. The front part of the sole came off one of them last week. Gorilla glue fixed it right up. Going to get another 2yrs out of the bad boys.

Everyone loves Ariats, but I keep trying and trying mine and it gives me a blister on the BOTTOM of one of my toes every time I wear them. I've had Georgias - good boots for sure. but the couple of times I've tried on the Irish Setters they sure felt good.

call it what you will...he is not definitely not anywhere near the top of the list for QB's that I would choose needing a FG or touchdown drive late in the game.

I have worn work boots for years,I have been lucky to get a yr at most from most. Worked High pressure Polyethylene compressor building with grating that would eat the soles out of the best boots. and soap with caustic in it.
Pipeline for the last 6 yrs , Its a lot easier on boots.I always liked red wings.
