Been kinda waiting on the temp to cool down some for some fall fishing but in reality, will it not cool off much until the time changes and it stays darker longer? Just curious. Thanks.

A lot of thinks affect the water temp drop. A big wet cold front with lots of rain will drop it pretty fast. That’s what I like to see. Stain up the water and drop the temp enough to start the shad moving back and I’m happy! Lol. the shorter days and cooler night temps start the process but take longer. Fall and winter are my favorite time of year to fish!!
